A melange appearance is created by combining fibres or yarns in different tones. We therefore select the composition, structure, stretch and weight for the intended garment and visual result. Approve a sample before production and test it during sewing and after washing. Current production options, colour and raw-material availability are confirmed in the quotation.
Melange has a varied surface that can look different on a small sample and on a full garment. Compare shade in daylight, opacity, handle and drape in the intended style. A colour name alone does not define composition or weight.
If you need ribbing, compare its colour against the main fabric on physical samples. Sew a prototype and check dimensions after care and the appearance in use before approving the quality.
